Innovative Occasions is located in the Cherry Lane Community of Glade Valley, North Carolina, between Roaring Gap and Sparta, North Carolina. A husband and wife team going for 29 years (J. Maynard and Denise F. Brooks) making every wedding and event in a persons life memorable and beautiful.
Denise works closely with you to truly understand the visions and expectations you have for your perfect wedding or event. Denise grew up in a family owned and operated florist continuing to perfect her floral design skills, even though she had other successful careers until opening Innovative Occasions. Working in the wedding industry has always been a dream and passion of Denise's. She is well organized and a former Project Analyst trained in making sure everything goes smoothly and stress free.
Maynard and Denise love their business and the many services it offers: Exclusive Wedding/Event Florist, Decoration/Linen Rentals, and Planning/Coordination. The Brooks' are members of and network with many event groups and associations to make sure all the right elements are available to create the traditional or innovative occasion of your dreams. They know the best wedding professionals to make your wedding or event a true success.
Denise is an approved Appalachian State University Wedding Reception Coordinator and the Executive Director of the Wilkes Bridal Association.
